Recently we asked over 800 people and patients in Sweden about their habits and needs when it comes to using digital health technologies.
In short the survey shows that 89% primarily use the internet to find health information.
47% already use health apps to keep track of exercise, sleep and diet among other things. A majority would like to handle symptoms, medications and other health related things in a easy and clear way in an app.
A total of 85% would like to have a service that connects health information from different applications, such as medical records, test results and other health data to perform an automated analysis to provide a more complete view of the health situation, get early warning signs and up-to-date recommendations.
76% believe the future healthcare will be more digitized with more patient influence and a participatory and personalized care.
